The Parents


Doug and Win are the parents of theatre directors Danny and Julie. They have been of continuous support to the pair financially, emotionally and physically. Both have worked at the theatre since the family took it over in 1998, and despite being at retirement age, they work many hours at the theatre, though more in moderation now than in 1998 when there was so much to do!

Ron and Ann are parents of senior technician and graphic designer Trudi. They have also supported the theatre in many capacities since 1998. Each year they buy the theatre a present, the first year they bought us the last orders bell for the bar, and the following year they bought the black and red t-shirts and sweatshirts which are now worn by all the staff in the theatre. Both Ron and Ann work regularly at the theatre Front of House and Backstage.
