The following equipment is available to either venue, please note that when other venues are in use the equipment will be shared between the them as appropriate, on a first come first served/necessity basis. |
| Scenery and Staging 8 pieces 8' x 4' steel deck rostrum with legs in 1', 2', 5', 7' and some odd bits (minimum height 6"). Can be used to build an 8' x 32' forestage in the main auditorium, by prior arrangement. Click here to see pictures of the forestage. The steel deck can also be used to build catwalks or other platforms in either venue. Please note, if rostra is required, the hirer should provide personnel to move it and return it after use. Treads, ladders, wooden rostra, flats, scenery, many pieces of profiled scenery which can be flown or free standing. Lots of scaffolding of various lengths and fittings including scaff steps. We have a selection of chairs, tables and lecterns. Fixtures and Fittings We have a vast stock of stage fixtures and fittings, including flying irons, cloth-rolling irons, steel cables, pin -hinges, braces, weights, nuts and bolts. The theatre has a supply of battons and conduit for frenchmen and cloths. The theatre would very much appreciate it if people could bring their own tools and equipment (especially screws, gaffa, LX tape) if they have them. The theatre does hold stocks of gaffa, LX tape and batteries, and can supply these at a reasonable cost. |

Please Note: Any costumes used must be cleaned and returned, anything which is borrowed must be returned in the condition it is lent, any damage or breakages will be paid for. |
